In the Groove
What does it mean to be, “In The Groove?” Being “in the groove” is an interesting expression; one that may not carry the same connotations today as in the days of the past.
On a gramophone or vinyl record, when the needle was in the groove, all was well. It was the established path. Contrast this with being in a rut! Grooves are good - ruts are bad! But what is interesting is that your activities can "wear in" both a groove or a rut. I picture a groove as being a pathway in which I am perfectly guided. Whereas when I think of a rut, I flash back to my teenage years and getting my truck stuck in a muddy rut.
This study will help us focus on the tools we can all use to get in the Spiritual Groove as opposed to the worldly rut. Join us as we study some Spiritual Disciplines so that we can find our groove!
