I read a sermon that began with a beautiful “word picture” that visualizes someone standing on a promontory jutting out over the sea far below a sheer cliff. The sermon imagines the vertigo someone would experience standing in such a place, and compares it to the feeling he gets when he considers the sixth beatitude: “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God,” Matthew 5:8. The author, Gregory of Nyssa, son of a speech and debate consultant, lived in the fourth century. His insights into the sixth beatitude, and how the preceding five support the sixth is valuable to understand. We’re glad you’re joining us this month as we discover what it means to be Pure in Heart.

This kit includes a full devotional study booklet which includes 14 days of devotions.  When you spend one day in the devotional study and the following journaling in your bible, this kit will take you through an entire month.  Inside the kit you will find a 4x6 stamp set to aid you in your journey through your bible. In addition to the devotional, the kit includes coordinating journaling cards, two 4.375 x 8.25" clear sticker sheets, two coordinating fabric clips, a custom watercolor dot card, LOTS of paper pieces, a kit sticker, a custom number sticker sheet,  a "stamp" sticker sheet, and a custom coordinated 4x8 alpha sticker sheet.
